Aficionado of words, coffee, and radical empathy, Riya Rana is an Indian-American student currently based in Baltimore, where she is completing her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, Sociology, and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University.

With experience in law, socioeconomic research, and quantitative analysis, she hopes to work at the intersections of social issues and material reality.
